We need to talk about Sett (and every champion released beforehand)

Hey guys, We need to talk about Sett, the guy should not be losing a fight to then press w and wipe an entire team with true damage, murder a team with an ult. Every champion released over the last 2 or so years has been over tuned and/or just has heavy stat weighing. Neeko was the last one I can recall that didnt come out with 2910378 spells and passives. Senna, Sett, Aphelios, Yuumi, Akali, etc all have too much going on and either hit rock bottom with nerfs/removing half the kit they came out with. Fuck making new champions, we have too many as is, just fix the current ones, rework the older ones. Competitive is stuck with Senna/Aphel pick ban, Sett came out and all he does is press R W and wins a teamfight 1 on 5... What is the point of PBE and internal testing if they come out with 3 champs-worth of kit stuck in one, or have over-the-top stats on certain parts of their kit. Sett is the new Morde, you're lead into a false sense of winning the fight only to then be 1 shot. Either by death realm crits on q, or Sett pressing W and dealing 1k true damage, that stat that not many like. Guess we're stuck banning these overtuned champions until the pros complain/pick them enough that Riot seeks some change. Just like how they suggest they like players to change the state of the game, but as soon as someone locks Singed support its account bannable...

The boards 1 week ago: "Man thank you Riot for releasing a balanced champion finally, Sett isnt overloaded, we havent had a good, basic champ like Sett in a long time!"

The boards this week: "WOW SETT HAS A THOUSAND TRUE DAMAGE AND SHIELD AND HEALS 400 HP/SEC WTF???"

Actual statistics: Sett is being nerfed next week, anyway, and he doesnt really need it. People are learning how to play Sett faster than playing against him because he's free, but simple enough that you can learn his entire kit in a few games. Its easier to play 7 games of Sett and get his power spikes, build orders, and mechanics figured out than it is to play against Sett enough to figure out how to best play AGAINST him, so his winrate spiked to obscene levels for ... like, a DAY. But now players are learning how to fight Sett more than players are learning how to use him since theyre roughly skill ceiling'd, and his winrate is dropping from like 61% to 52% and will likely continue dropping. The nerfs arent terrible, iirc, but if he drops to ~45% for a while I wont be surprised, but even then he'll climb back up and get picked by pros because hes not going to be bad regardless.

tl;dr, Sett is totally fine. You'll adapt, or just ban him from now on.

"losing a fight to then press w and wipe an entire team with true damage, murder a team with an ult"

Who are you talking about here? Since it's not sett.

Like guy if you want to talk about him being too strong fine but make a real argument and not nonsense like this.
