why are we baiting new players with targons on thresh?

item 3302 As a thresh player i dont myself use Targons, i prefer coin because it allows me to use my passive to poke the enemy adc more often. how are new players supposed to know that they cant exicute minions with this item? useing the word "melee" means nothing to a new player for all they know it just means not abilitys which will actually also trigger the item work.

i literally have to explain how targons works ALL the time to new players playing thresh, the description either needs to be changed to be more clear and apparent that killing a minion triggers the item and or it needs to be removed from his suggested build.

It's his favored gold income item, that's why.

One does not need to know how to play LoL to know the difference between MELEE and RANGE. These concepts are not exclusive to LoL.

"Melee" means melee auto attacks only.

so thresh has a prefrence?

it provides no actual advantage over any other gold income item it simply has a hadrer to use mechanic that is hurting new players.

the fact is new players are getting it and dont understand how to use it.

i know you have been lvl 30 for a long time now and forgot what it was like to be new but i play with new people all the time, and i shouldent have to explain how an item that doesnt work for ranged champs is suggested on one.

And here i thought thresh counted as melee. Never play him but still.
