The Magical Blue Essence

Hello Riot employees and Summoners of all kinds.

I come to you to talk about blue essence. Love it or hate it, I think the majority of us hate it.

For one thing, it's super hard to get! Sure you can get them "from mystery champion shards in the shop" as a Riot employee would put it to make you further wanting to waste your precious ip in hopes of getting a champ you already have or one you don't need, but every now and then you get a champ shard for a champ that looks promising to upgrade to become a champion permanently in your lineup. There's also the mastery 6 and 7 deal where you need a shard of the champion and 500 blue essence.

But I come to ask you why. Why should you need this much blue essence to upgrade your mastery? You shouldn't need a champion shard, or even blue essence to get masteries 6 or 7 tokens. It's just Riot's way of asking for more and more money to spend on champion shards which you don't have a choice of who to pick AND you still need the blue essence.

So I also got this champion shard of a champion I'm very interested in getting permanently but then again I have these mastery 6 tokens I have yet to unlock that require blue essence AND champion shards.

I only have 17 essence Riot, once in a blue moon I get blue essence raw. Like never really.

I really hope you guys can amend blue essence or just take it away completely and if you get a champion shard of a champion, you can unlock it for free permanently, to make the game similar to other MOBAs. In addition to getting rid of the whole pay for mastery token Sh-Bang. Doesn't getting the champion to Mastery 5 show you play them enough to care for future mysteries???
