Thresh appriciation thread

thank you riot for this master piece. Thresh is by far the support that gives you the biggest amount of satisfaction in the game. Hitting a hook through a wall then cross the wall and drop the lantern for you comrade makes me feel something i never feel with any champions

thresh is the best when it comes to balance, his only problem was his base stats+his W shielding everyone which gave him a niche that wasn't intended (enchenter buffing his whole team) Thresh has the perfect balance between strength and weakness. He is the support that your team needs if you want to repositions enemies AND allies. If you need your enemies to be in a certain range then you pick thresh, i realised this by playing ADC darius and having a thresh with me, he was able with his E to pull/knock back enemies depending of their range with my Q. if you want to reposition an ally from jarvan's ulti than you pick thresh, same with other area of effect spells like

Not only this, but his kit brings the damage a support needs to be relevant in early/mid game, with his ultimate bringing a nuke and his passive bringing a nuke on basic attacks

But this strength is balanced with weaknesses, his base stats and low range makes the laning phase dangerous His cooldown are one of the highest in league in early game, making again laning phase dangerous His mana costs are real unlike other supports His spells are all delayed leaving room for counterplay
