laggy feeling after getting a new pc

hey so i just got a new pc. went from gt 730 to rtx 2060(nvidia) and amd athlon II to amd ryzen 5 2600(in case it matters) i have a random phillips tv with a hdmi cable for a monitor(this didnt change before) and i have the same peripherals as before. let's get to my issue.on the old pc i used to get about 60 fps on low settigns,but it felt smooth af.now,i get over 300 fps but it feels unnatural..idk why.any fixes?

There are some options in your graphics card settings (like the nvidia control panel) that allows you to lock the refresh rate to a specific value.

For the nvidia control panel you can find it under Display->Change resolution. Then select your monitor and you should have some options for setting the refresh rate per monitor there.
