LP loss and other thoughts that bugs me
This is not a complaint about how the LP system works or a whine post about OP champions and bad match ups.
Though something that strikes me a little unfair and my mind have a hard time to grasp. I just went from 1 win in promo games to almost drop down in a secondary ELO sorely by one reason and one reason alone. Loosing games because one or more team mates either rage quit or for some unknown reason can't stay online. Why should I get punished because we play half the game 4 vs 5 or 3 vs 5? I can't imagine it would be to hard to implement a system that track red players and give loss prevention to the remaining players. I am all for giving the winning team LP for their win. But for the love of God, don't punish the loosing team for having a retard on their team.
The leavebuster system, though fancy, does not do the trick. Players that find ease at rage quitting or leaving games do not care about a 30 minute queue ban. Even with a 5 game 30 minute low prio queue the only punishment is equivalent to no more than 2 games. In my opinion the punishment is to soft. I think Riot could easily add a LP loss to the red player equal to the sum of the gains in the winning team. And if they do not have enough then drop them down an ELO and take the points from there.
