Judging by your match history you're a Tryndamere main.

That's a hard match-up, especially if the Gnar rushes a Frozen Mallet like he should. He's gonna be too tanky and too much of a kiting piece of shit for you to kill solo if you fall behind or maybe even stay even until you get a few items.

I lost early game against this Gnar because of his phat roams, but once I got Rageblade, Phantom Dancer, and IE was when I was able to fight him I believe. His damage falls off, and you're going to shred him with a build like mine.

In lane, try to focus on farming. If he's not being aggressive cause he's a dumb face try to all-in him if you have minion advantage, or from early on since Gnar's level 1 is babby tier. Other than that just farm and accept that you're gonna get zoned if he makes no mistakes.

Don't play a no gap closer top laner. Or if you've been counter picked then stack armor as your first item, bring tele and refillable potions and ask for ganks. Also use abilities to last hit.

You want to bait him into using his top which, like tehNACHO had stated, is ridiculously long...then jump on him as mini. Mega Gnar, if you're ranged, just kite him then or just dodge as best as you can. Champions like Fiora, Irelia, Renekton are good against him because of the gap closers. Vlad has great sustain so can bully him out of lane when he turns mega and even when he's mini.

u dont want to fight him in mega mode. u just want to all in him right after hes out of his mega mode. any buriser with a gapcloser can handle him

Mini Gnar is surprisingly easy to outfight, and Hop has a ridiculously long cooldown early game. Trick to beating Mini Gnar is to engage on him, back off when he jumps away, and then immediately reengage when your engage ability is back off cooldown.

depends on who you are. some matchups, gnar jsut flat out bullies you. with all matchups you have to asses what you can do before hand. and then see how the lane plays out. if you are outclassed/outmatched just let the wave push, freeze at your tower, and call for ganks.

in most cases, in most ELOS i should say, the gnar can and will make a mistake. mini gnar is actually a top 5 squishy champ in game and MEGA gnar is one of the beefiest in the game. his passive that makes him mega gnar has a cooldown once he gets out of it. so when he goes back to mini, in most matchups this is your chance. especially if he used his hop on you while he was in mega form. that has a long cooldown. abuse it.

as for everything else, well you have to dodge his boomerang. that is most of his kiting. if you get hit by a boomerang don't keep chasing him. if you can't dodge the boomerang well you are out of luck. but yes, TLDR...he is super squsih in mini gnar. and if he gets too aggressive and isn't close to mega gnar, turn on him and explode him.

champs that destroy him in mini are irelia, riven, yasuo, pantheon, jax.

Tips on fighting mini gnar

-Dodge the Q, it is honestly not that hard to do, the missle speed isn't that over bearing -Engage hard on him, he won't be able to out trade you (assuming he has the same minions you do) -Don't chase when he runs away

So the biggest mistake you can do is chasing a gnar, he is a auto reliant marksman in his mini form. Which means, he has no burst. You have two types of damage

1-Instant cast burst, champions that have a series of skills that can be comboed that add up instantly in damage, but than fall off in the fight for they have to wait for said cool downs to come back up. 2-Auto attack champions such as yasuo or caitlyn, who prefer to be in long fights so they can stack up autos onto you, which does take time to do

Champions A prefers to jump in, kill a target as fast as possible and get out, Champion B prefers long drawn out fights, knowing that if he or she is more fed, once the burst combo from the enemy champion is over, that they will win the trade, for they have strong autos and you don't.

I can't stress how important this advice is. DO NOT CHASE GNAR, you are more than likely playing someone like Maoki, Irelia, Riven, Garen. Someone who relies on the skills to get them kills. Once you finish your burst combo, for the most part you do not have to much left to dish out. Gnar however has a Vayne passive that will easily chunk your health. Once you finish your combo, just slap a final auto onto him and walk out. Do no chat him, he will out kite you.

TLDR-Long drawn out fights against gnar = bad unless you are ahead of him

For Mega Gnar

Personally in my opinion much easier to fight, His skills are easy to dodge, he is slower, less mobile, and loses all his strengths as mini gnar. The only thing he gains as mega gnar, is health back, tankier stats, and a better chance to execute you if you are low.

you can pick Sion

you outpoke him in mini form and kite him in mega form and you can oupush and outroam him too while ur at it

isnt much he can do about it
