Garen is blatantly the most overpowered/broken champ in the entire game

He has by far the highest win rate of any champion in the game at 53.26%. His win rate went from 50.24% 9.19 to 53.26% in 9.20. He also has the highest pick rate in the entire game. This means that practically every player with a keyboard and a mouse can play him and literally destroy every other champion. I went legendary in ranked in my first ever game with him and I was hardly trying... I don't even main top lane. He's actually just stupid. He does too much damage (one-shots), is too tanky, and counters virtually anything that wants to either 1) throw abilities at him (silence) and 2) is within his aa range (so much damage with E + conqueror + R). He's the latest example of an objectively OP reworked overbuffed overtuned braindead champion and the fact that I have to complain about him in the first place is a joke.

My last sessions of ranked/normals have been examples of a garen either "carrying" my team or "carrying" the enemy team. The champion wins lane, then proceeds to run mid (my main role), either kills me or destroys the tower, then runs bottom and one-shots the adc and snowballs the entire game. The champion clearly has WAY TOO MUCH impact on the game and, frankly, I don't wanna throw my ban at him every game.

Nerf him.

Regress his rework.

Do anything to him, please.

He has nerfs scheduled for him next patch apparently. I'd prefer hotfixes.

Neither of these statements are actually true.

Ashe beats him in both categories. In addition, Kaisa Ezreal LeeSin Thresh &Lucian all have higher playrates.

He is objectively strong at the moment, but don't over exaggerate it.

Countered by many champs with range

His new build makes him squishy so CC him = insta dead

Jax destroys him late game

Fiora is a good counter

Urgot counters him

He has too many bad match ups, 53% win rate is nothing alarming, many champs have had 53%+ win rates for MONTHS and still do.

Garen is still underpowered, he's just good at stomping low elo

Idk what riot is thinking tbh when they do these buffs. They made attack speed garen op and nwo they're like oh we meant it to be a secondary option. Do they even test their buffs? Do they even play the game? They buffed the most toxic jungler in the game (shaco) and now they're like oh we need to nerf him. They changed blitzs range which is sth ridiculous and now they're like oh he's a problem let's nerf his armor instead of the range that made him op in the first place

whats funny in challenger elo which is the as close to pro as possible in terms of skill

garen has currently has a 46.25% win rate 9.0% pick rate 7.6% ban rate

grand master he has a 49.4% win rate 10.3% pick rate 12.1% ban rate

Probably should let him slide for a week or two to get the full set of data instead of a knee-jerk response.

Lord forbid actually waiting to see if the playerbase can adapt to change before hauling out the nerf hammer or buff stick.
