Death recap is an amazing tool that lets you see how you died. Or rather it would be if it actually told you any relevant information. This game has come such a long way since i started playing at the end of season one and it boggles my mind that death recap is the same. I'm so tired of tanking a fight and seeing all 930/4500 dmg i took. One column is the 43 dmg i took from spellcaster minions and the other one is the 120 dmg i took from janna autos. This game has become so big and the competitive scene is great. Death recap has so much potential, such a wealth of information for adjusting builds ,what abilities are hitting so hard, etc could be there. But it is being wasted, and shows next to nothing. Looking at the recap is almost more painful than actually dying. Are there any future plans to change this or are we just ignoring it because it's not going to make money like a new champ/skin release?

I mean besides from bugs like taking dmg from peoples names and nonsource crap, how is this not being worked on?

  1. Reasoning If you don't explain why you're not happy with the game's balance, they why should we read your post? How can we possibly sympathize with you? In other words, "I lost" is not a valid reason for a champion being OP/UP.

This is from the before you make a post about balance topic. Perhaps if players could clearly see the dmg they were taking they would have actual information to back up statements for buff/nerfs of said champions.

I had fun with this on ARAM the other day. I was playing Gnar and at the start of two separate fights I had full health.

  1. First fight I had 2.8k health and according to death recap I took 2.5k damage in about 3 seconds. What happened to the other 300hp?
  2. Second fight was even worse as I took around 2.8k damage but had 3.3k health and died.

I understand that the death recap may not be perfect but when it makes it look like I shouldn't have died at all it really should be a priority.
