how can i clear chat at once?

I want to know how can i clear my chat at once... like youtubers click something or press something and then the chat that the person wrote is gone... so I want to know that.. IN MACBOOK AIR... I don't know how to do that in MACBOOK AIR... SO PLS TELL ME ABOUT THAT..
