Some people max W first on Heimerdinger, you know.

And they had perfectly good reasons to do it, too. They deal high damage throughout the entire game, have a longer range than turrets, and the spread can make for some impressive plays. Sure, it might be hard to use due to the spread and skillshot, but the reward is worth it, especially when going against a champ that can easily take out Heimerdinger's turrets. It was a completely viable and sensible thing to do, and you were able to pull it off easily if you knew how to land it.

Until now, that is.

You see, when Riot gave other champs mana regen or more base mana to compensate for getting rid of potions, they left a few champs out- one of them being Heimerdinger. "But Gorillanator!" you respond. "I've played against Heimerdingers before. I despise them with every bone in my body with a hatred as intense as the burning of one thousand suns They seem to use moderately low amounts of mana when I fight against them. Are you saying that he should get compensation just because everyone else did?" I'm not, actually. Chances are if you've seen a Heimerdinger use moderately low amounts of mana, they capitalized on using their turrets, Despite being powerful, the turrets only cost 25 mana throughout the game- a low cost even in the earliest stages of playing. Heimerdinger's rockets, however, use 70-110 mana based on their level, and if you use them as much as I do, it ends up draining a large majority of your mana pool. Keep in mind that Heimerdinger only starts with 307 mana, and unless effected by items, has 987. While he may be able to use them consistently during late game, Heimerdinger depends heavily on his early game performance (or at least in my experience), and so for a champion like this, mana issues are a really big problem.

Now I'm not asking Riot to give Heimerdinger more mana regen or more base mana, because most people don't play him like this and thus don't often have big mana problems. But what I am asking is that when changes involving mana like this are made, please take into consideration that people don't always play champs the way they're normally played.
