Can someone explain rakan being ranged? Can have a hurricane and proc it.
The man has an extended ranged melee slapping you and its considered ranged?
Cant use relic shield in your face but CAN use a hurricane? why?

pretty sure if your attack range is over 200 your ranged, excluding enhanced auto attacks.
Rakan was made a weirdly short ranged, ranged champion so that he'd have a harder time building tank since he can't make good use of Relic Shield. He's supposed to be the "assassin of supports" so he has a lot of base damage and mobility but in exchange he ends up squishier than the other short range engage supps.
So he doesn't have stupid sustain from Relic shield to go along with his Q (and technically his passive, for himself obviously).
He has always been ranged...
But Irelia throws blades with magic and that's melee
