Jhin Ultimate hitbox

Okay, so I know this champion is new and you guys are still testing with him, but his Ult Range is SOOOO misleading. You have that cone shaped area where he can shoot right? Well if you aim close to him his bullets can go OUTSIDE the cone. This literally just lost me a game because i was running outside the cone and reached outside, when he just hit me. Like, was this intentionally made to mislead people and to make them dodge the bullets? Or is this just an unintuitive design of this champion
