To climb up in the league, I need to work on my mechanics
Take this with a grain of salt - I'm not giving advice to anyone, just my own sharing about the soloQ rank I've been playing these days. Note I'm a bronze player so take all this with a grain of salt.
So this is what I thought in response to people who play soloQ. Basically, if I'm trying to climb up the ladder, I need a decent amount of playing experience (when to land skill shots, how accurate are my skillshots, how to control my movement) ON THE CHAMPION, which takes a lot of practice.
The point of this is to make remedy if one of your teammates is falling behind, your kills or skills can make up their faulty play.
I've used my friend's smurf account and realized how good a Gold player's mechanic is. It's all about practice on ONE champion. 'Til I can rock this champion with 14-0 in normal queue, I won't go to ranked to test them.
Rank is just a place for people to test how well they have played on THAT CHAMPION. I didn't go to rank until I can effortlessly land my W+Q, Q+E combo in normals. It all takes practice.
Rank is pretty boring, however, because it's only about one champion, and testing skills on very specific things.
