Some Pantheon changes that I'd like to see
Pantheon main here and after all of the nerfs that he received, I don't see people play him as much anymore nor do I even see people talking about him. I mean fck, not even I play him anymore lol. He just feels extremely under powered and it feels bad to play him as well. I also happen to main top so LOL. So just a little discussion about his current kit and some possible changes to it that I would like to see.
Passive - Pantheon now receives a shield upon reaching max stacks alongside empowered abilities. The shield is not an adaptable shield like Camille's passive shield and can scale off max hp or whatever that works best. New animation for when the shield is up just like when pre-rework pantheon had his block mechanic up. He puts up and ready his shield to embrace for attacks for the duration of the shield.
I love the reworked passive while also hating it because lets be honest, block was pretty damn op and annoying to fight against.
Q - Damage reduced on the skill shot version after it hits the enemy is now removed.
I never understood why riot even implemented that damage reduction on the skill shot version because there is no reason, AT ALL, to use the skill shot version if the enemy champ is behind minions or another enemy champ. This skill, in my opinion, has been nerfed to the ground and could use a little buff on the numbers.
W - Personally, I think this skill is fine and wouldn't change or add anything to it. But when they nerfed and removed the part how pantheon's movement speed would affect the time that it takes to get to the target, like, I didn't even know that was a thing. That part of his w was never mentioned when his rework came out and then out of the fcking blue riot goes, oh yeah, we're nerfing this shit. Like, the fck? LOL
E - Pantheon's full damage immunity to whichever direction he is facing is now removed and self slow while the skill is in use is also removed. Now receives a damage reduction that scale with champion level up to a max of say 50%? while the skill is in use. Damage of the skill is improved by a moderate amount.
Lots of people crying about this skill when its easily avoided. If you're a back row then I understand, it is pretty bs if you happen to blow everything on him while the skill is up in your direction but then again, thats your own fault as well. If you're front row then you can just walk to the side, walk behind Pantheon, or wait out the skill. Pantheon is also slowed while the skill is in use so come on people, jesus, and the skill doesn't even do much damage at all either.
R - Can now be empowered on top of having max stacks after usage and now shows an indicator to your ally when you're coming in like pre-rework r. Camera lock when landing removed. Empowered r reduces cast time and all enemies caught in the area behind pantheon are pushed toward his landing position. Damage of the skill now scales off ad?
Honestly, I wouldn't mind if they reverted the skill back to pre-rework either because its just that bad. Longer cast time on top of having your camera locked when landing and also having to ping your team like 10 fcking times that you're coming in with your ult.
