Blue essence/ champion obtainablity

The last few days I've been trying to grind out a champion that I really feel like playing but I'm having one problem with this. The current blue essence makes it way harder to obtain champions than before. Before you could just grind out games and you'll get your champion but it seems like they tried to make it easier for the casual player who plays 1 to 2 games a day instead of someone grinding. I am grinding at the moment and I feel extremely limited by getting around 1500 essence from a good shard from a level up. I'm honor 2 first checkpoint at the moment so getting key fragment is very limited. I personally think we need to start earning blue essence from playing games instead of the lackluster challenges. You only get 50 from the first win of the day which is the only challenge you can consistantly do... I just thought I'd go on a little rant here since it's really bothering me. I've played around 20 games over the past 3 days to get a 4800 champion by the way and I'm on 4600. Far away from leveling up and 1 need 1 more keyfragment for a key.. But what are the changed of getting a champion shard right.
