What I'm predicting what's going to happen once the replacement for Bond of stone happens
For those who don't go to Surrender@20, today's patch release with a sort of rework for Bond of Stone which does the following:
Will be renamed "Stoneborn Pact"
"Gain 5% total health.
Your movement impairing effects brand enemy champions with an earthen rune for 4 seconds. Other allied champions who attack branded enemies heal for 5 + 2.5% of your maximum health over 2 seconds (halved if you are ranged)."
In layman's terms, Your slows, roots, stuns, etc will now heal anyone else who hits whoever you got with the slow.
A couple of other notes / Questions about this:
-
There doesn't seem to be any cooldown for this
-
if it's a continuous slow, does the rune keep resetting itself?
-
If an enemy champion attacks a branded enemy, does it consume the rune?
Now I don't have a PBE account, so if there is someone who can answer these, that'd be great :)
Now if this new keystone DID go onto live the way it is now (I kinda doubt it, but still), Here are what I predictions as to what would happen:
-
Battlemages who can abuse Rylai's, Vanguard/Warden Tanks, and any other possible champ who can use this will become much more prevalent in the meta (Someone try Tank Karthus with this lol)
-
Mages will still probably continue to be Botlane supports. In fact, They will more likely attempt to get more tanky to utilize this keystone better so the ADC can heal off the slows
-
With Cho'Gath's new R, I'm gonna call it that he's gonna be OP. (or more OP if he isn't already, I haven't played much since last patch.)
Just a few of my predictions on this. What do yall think?
