Everyday we hear about op, nerf, broken, etc.. but lets go a different route..

Who do you think is in a perfect place right now?

maybe Riot can learn from this thread and have something to work off of, idk either way I'm just curious who the champ would be.

My personal choice would be Orianna Orianna. I think that her early game isn't great, her mid game is decent, and her late game is beast mode. It's essentially how a late game champ should be made. In my opinion, she's one of the hardest champions to play in League of Legends, but taking the time to master her, is definitely worth it. Also, she really excels with teamplay .. so if your team isn't grouping or playing together (mainly solo queue) then she will definitely not be as strong.

I think Sion is basically perfect right now.

"Her early game isn't great."

Have you never played against an Oriana? Her harass is toxic as fuck, and her shield + movement speed makes her incredibly safe.

"Orianna's early game isn't great."

She's a lane bully. What? Her ball move cooldown is pretty low, she has a shield to reduce trades too, and his ball move slow TLD is a half HP.

I would say even tough the last mid season brought him out of balance a bit, his still pretty balanced. Velkoz

Really because I'd say Orianna is broken and horrible to play against. She just does way too much damage with a simple QW.

My choice is Xayah to be honest. She's very good at what she does and requires skill to play well, but also has clear weaknesses and bad matchups that make her niche. Pretty bad early but insane lategame, without the infuriating range of a Jinx.

AurelionSol Braum Diana JarvanIV Nidalee Nami Tristana are all champs that don't tilt me in champ select

I don't think Orianna's numbers have been touched in years. The only changes to her have been very minor QoL changes. She has big playmaking potential, but you need to earn it by capitalizing on opponents mistakes. That's how it should be. She also has significant counterplay. You can dodge all of her spells, and her ult has an indicator to give you a chance to avoid it. Basically the perfectly designed champion.

Lux I believe Lux is in an awesome spot, fills that Ranged Nuker role very well. She has very defined strengths and weaknesses, and her scaling is on point.

Vi Great engage tools, counterable, and not too absurd on the burst. she's exactly what i think of when the term 'bruiser' comes to mind.

Sivir Really, really well balanced ADC here - she is surprisingly versatile and defensive, with some amazing late game potential.

Heimerdinger Potent but balanced. His burst is extreme but his shots and skills are tough to line up and he's super vulnerable. I think he's one of the better balanced mages currently.

Braum Super well balanced. Great use of CC - hits the sweet spot between 'too tanky' and 'not tanky'. Not overbearing. You know where you stand and how fucked you are with Braum. It never feels unfair when you get control'd.

Zilean My personal main - I love the Z-Train. He's terrifying in good hands, and has a pretty high skill cap. He mixes an excellent slice of burst, control, and area denial. His weakness is simply mobility. He really can't deal with the likes of 'mobility' kits. His bomb stun and remake were handled fantastically. Don't change a thing, Riot!

Xayah Call me crazy, and I know its early, but man - her Kit is fantastic, she is one of the best new designs out of riot in a long time. Her burst is nuts, but the setup for it is rough.

Had a feeling someone would mention Orianna when I read the topic title.

Don't get me wrong, Orianna is pretty well-balanced, but I wouldn't say shes the best. It's like 10x easier to carry with her when her team has a vanguard/diver to put the ball on. If she falls behind, Ori does very little damage because only her W has respectable base value, while if she gets a lead it becomes very difficult to lane against her due to how short her CDs are and how she can easily proc TLD with a basic ability combo. Her passive is also kinda bad early on - bonus magic damage autos don't mean too much when you have 40 base AD.

She also may have been a hard champion when she was released back in 2010 or whenever, but in 2017 shes above-average difficulty at best. The ball really isnt that hard to micro (not that it has much to do with being well-balanced).

She may always be playable while never overbearing, but the issues I mentioned above make me hesitant to say shes outright the most balanced champ.

My vote for most balanced goes to Sion and Nami.

I've said this before, and I'll say it again.

In my opinion, Nami is one of the most balanced champs in the game. Yeah, yeah, she uses Redemption, which is still pretty OP right now, but even with that, she is in a solid state.

Not overbearing, but still quite strong. Very clear strengths and weaknesses, and also has a decent mastery curve (especially with her bubble).

Seriously, when was the last time you felt you couldn't do anything against a Nami? Never, right? Cause, throughout the entire game, you feel you can outplay her, and you can. If you get hit by a bubble, it doesn't make you rage, you actually say "Wow, that was a good bubble." Even when shes being hyper aggressive in lane, and possibly kicking your ass, it still feels like she can beaten.

THAT, my friends, is a sign of very good balance.

Diana is pretty much the only assassin i consider fair, as her gap closers need to be earned, unlike most assassins out there.

I think most immobile marksman are fairly balanced usually, with some occasional outliers through League's history. Basically, a trade in mobility for potentially the most consistent damage in the game. Someone like Jinx starts with a fairly weak lane phase, but if her support can work with her she survives long enough to deal loads of damage; but she's still vulnerable to being caught and blown up, there are obvious ways to play against her. It's a team effort, but it's really rewarding for anybody on her team to pull off keeping her alive long enough in a teamfight to just go crazy.

Immobile carries like Jinx or Twitch usually end up in ok spots, and it seems like their balance depends more on items or other Champions state of balance rather than their own numbers.

Sivir stands out to me as pretty balanced, especially after the utter domination she did of Season 5 Competitive.

{quoted} My personal choice would be Orianna Orianna.

Her kit is overloaded and her ult is one of the best in the game (thus why she's been longtime popular in LCS.) She does too much damage for what her kit does. She is not balanced.

I think Lux is the most balanced champ. Skillshot with hard cc. Decent damage but avoidable and mitigatable (is that a word?). Kit isn't overloaded and she's fun to play.
