Shaco jg thoughts after beating one at top
Shaco, who has traditionally been intended to fall off later in the game somehow has a huge spike in performance the later the game goes on. That's on top of the fact that the assassin update removed pinks, and recent sweeper changes removed the ability to disable his traps, greatly increasing his early game strength as those were his two main weaknesses.
The strangest part, even moreso than the fact he actually gets better as the game goes on when he should be getting worse, is that people were complaining about him receiving nerfs after his only weaknesses were removed. And even those nerfs haven't caused a dip in performance.
Maybe Shaco wouldn't be so deserving of more nerfs if the ones they were giving actually had an impact.
My thoughts: He shouldn't have a cloak on a blink in the first place. The fact it isn't a dash means you don't get any indication of which direction he's going to move with it anyway. His ultimate should either have 100% AP scaling OR 50% total auto attack damage, not both. This makes it much harder to balance him around his possible playstyles. Though I'd be much more in favor of it becoming an actual illusion instead of a completely solid pet that can interact with skillshots in flight as if it were a champion. Hell, even 3, 4, 5 fake Shacos would be fine to have to play around if they didn't act as body shields for attacks that aren't supposed to be able to hit anything but champions. It's one thing for it to be the target of auto-attacks, since those are targeted. But it's another thing entirely, and completely unfair, for it to be possible to block Ashe's/Jinx's/Caitlin's ultimates in flight with what's supposed to be an illusion.
