I just got in Silver V and I'm afraid to go to Bronze V! Please help a scared noob!

Hi al! I transfered to NA server and I just won a ranked game and ended in Silver V! I'm very happy! I will win a banner trim and a loading screen border (it's kind of a big deal to me! =P I know silver is low elo, but I'm happy anyway!)

Now I'm very scared I mess up and go down to Bronze I and loose my beloved banner trim and loading screen border...

So, please:

If I don't play anymore hanked games until the end of the season will I fall down to Bronze I due to inactivity?
I'm a (proud) Ahri Spellbreaker, Silver V, I have 0 points... If I play one ranked game and loose it will I go down to Bronze I?

Please help me! =)

No you dont decay in bronze silver or gold anymore. You dont have to play

If this is your first time playing ranked, like it was for me this season, it is likely you were placed too high (I was at least). I was demoted back to bronze and then worked my way back up to silver after hundreds of games and experience gained. If you want that silver border, don't play and you will keep it since you cannot decay for inactivity. You can, however, go back to bronze by losing, although only losing once will not demote you as far as I know.

Thanks man! I will follow your advice and not play rankeds until the end of this season... I'm not a big fan of ranked anyway... I get nervous easily with ragers, trolls, feeders, afks... I usually play team builder, but I wanted the banner trim and the border...

It was an awesome game, by the way... My team was amazing, no trolls, no "solo mid or feed", nothing like that... We started behind, I was 0 / 2 / 0 (top Ryze X Vi, I was Ryze), we lost our outter turrets... But we didnt lost hope! =P

My tear of goddess charged, my rod of ages "aged", we took their mid turrets, inhibitor, started pushing the other lanes... In the end, I was 3 /3 / 6, and we woooon! =P
