Any tips would be helpful! I want to know how you should cs, I see people talk about 100 cs by 10 minutes is ideal. I wanna know how I can do that when the other laner just harasses and harasses you. Every game I play, in my elo which is low (s1) everyone just wants to harass and even THEY miss a lot of cs. any tips for csing and getting 100 cs by 10 minutes? ty xoxo

70-80 cs by 10 minutes is ideal. (Realistic)

With that being said, If you're at least even or ahead of your lane opponent then you should be fine.

Try practicing with the practice tool (put a bot on intermediate) CSing is really best with practice.

If they're harassing, give it right back if you have a compitant support they will help with making them harass a scary thing. Other than that, let your support harass. I personally play an offensive support stance if I see them coming in to harass I get in their way to let my ADC farm.

In other lanes like Top lane it all depends on the match up really. If your nasus against gnar for example, they're gonna harass the shit outta you making CS damn near impossible.

Mid lane is one of the harder lanes IMO because you don't want to push while Casing because it leaves you open for tanks from all directions.

In a perfect world you don't want to farm to far out in the lane stay relatively close to turret but try not to let the minion wave push I to your turret, cause your gonna miss alot if CS to the turret.

As for the harassing, it's gonna happen there's nothing you can do about it unless like I said, harass them right back because they're missing CS as well.

100 CS by 10 minutes isn't possible even at perfect CS the max I think was 92.

An ideal amount would be 55 - 65 which is good CSing, 70+ is excellent but don't expect 80+ unless you both decided to have a farm lane.

100cs by 10 mins is ideal, but even in plat I see a lot of players getting 100 cs by about 13 mins. Gold income in general is more accurately measured by the kill participation and objectives gotten on top of cs, so sometimes you can have a few kills early from roaming that causes less cs than you would really want.

That aside, you want to be able to cs at that perfect rate whenever you are not doing something other than lane management. A lot of people will also suggest this, but the best way to practice is to go into a custom game/practice tool with either your main champion or a champion who has weak auto attacks (ie a mage) and practice csing. The two main things are timing and memory of how much damage things like casters, melees, cannons, and towers do to minions.

Get yourself into a pattern with each champ, how you kill the creeps and keep on making that more efficient and getting your skills honed and you'll miss very few in time.

Even pros in the LCS miss the 100 by 10 minutes (I often see ADCs getting 90, so close). I wouldn't use that unrealistic bs goal. It is a good goal and hopefully one day you achieve it, but starting off with something you are unlikely to get won't help you actually get better. Start with smaller reasonable goals and work your way up. The reason the goal 100@10 is terrible is because people on the forums just spam it to bronze players. That is unrealistic.

I don't have the thread, but someone here posted it too. If you are ahead of your opponent by 10 cs you are doing good. Of course have a number goal in mind and keep trying to reach it. Don't raise it until you get your goal easily everytime.

I think the 100@10 is fine in the sense that it tells you to focus on cs and not chasing for kills. But again set a better goal. And do harass and take kills if they show up.

More than 100 minions spawn at 10 minutes in a single lane. (117)
