So I just got Zed yesterday and absolutely love playing him. But I'm stil l confused with how he works. I kill people but I don't actually know how I do it haha. During the 3 seconds of mark time with his ult, can I just hit them a few times and my ult will deal that damage? I really don't understand it at all. Plz help
Your ultimate multiplies your damage. That's more or less it.
Depending on the rank of the ult, here's how it works.
You apply a mark to an enemy. This mark lasts for 3 seconds. Upon detonation it will deal what I believe is currently 20/35/45% of the damage you dealt to them in that 3 seconds plus your current AD in damage. This includes EVERYTHING except true damage so ignite will not add to your ult.
So, for example, say you're level 9 with 200 AD. You ult someone, pull off 800 damage in those 3 seconds. At rank 1, your ult will deal 20% of what you did in those 3 seconds. So (800)(.2)= 160 plus your current AD which is 200. So, in total your ult will deal 360 damage.
