How would you use Minion Dematerializer?

At first it sounded so nice: securing those cannon minions early, easily pushing one of the earlier waves in and then get some free pushing power for those mages that have some problems. But so far they seem fairly unusable, the only thing that really worked was quickly demolishing a cannon minion before backing. I tried it on Lux because you sometimes struggle oneshotting the ranged creeps if you don't build flat ap => item 3089 but while the slight damage may do the trick if just as often didn't and again minions survived with 3HP Having more waveclear might break some things but the damage is simply too insignificant too make a difference, when you are ahead you might kill them just as good without it and when you're behind chances are they are juuuuust not enough.

Personally I think the bonus damage should be increased, having "kill 6 minions instantly" is just not worth it when you could get a stopwatch instead.

Use it with as melee tank support for easy cannon kills with zero risk of being harassed.

I'd use them on a cannon minion, a melee minion and a super minion (if I still have one.

Super minions are just retardedly hard to kill if you are a mage.

depends on the situation. probably on a melee minion.

you dont need to prep them for lasthitting under turret this way. when im not pushed in, id probably just use them on cannons, just to decrease my odds of missing one.

if you really still have them in your inventory by the time super minions become relevant, then its obvious.

It was intended on champions that barely miss last hitting with an AoE spell. For instance Talon w loves to leave the back line creeps with like 3 hp, but with so many flat damage options I find opting into something that gives ad/ap is just better for clearing most of the time.

I don't think it's worth just for executing 6 minions, that's a maximum of maybe 600g if you use targons and there was no chance to get them and that's just a HUGE maybe like MAYBE you win at Bingo but you could instead just work to get the same money The pushing power on the other hand is so weak, taking it on a champion that deals DPS to minions is insignificant, you'd only want it on someone who couldn't oneshot minions by a little margin, the problem is that one shifts over games

sometimes you lack like 10 dmg to kill them and the mastery is good, sometimes you can easily do it and sometimes you are so far behind that this is useless. It's so situational, it's worthless when you are winning, when you are a little bit behind it can be ok but it won't help you too much and when you are behind a lot you are fucked anyway and this doesn't change it.

buffing the amount is basically a difference of 3 AAs, it won't break anything but you won't just have a useless rune if you fall behind which didn't bring you a lot even when you were ahead

It's fairly niche.

It'll take some adjusting to know exactly when the added damage from the rune will achieve the single ability waveclear breakpoint for a handful of champs who are close but not quite, and theres some match ups that revolve around the ability to shove waves (and potentially roam, which some other insp runes help with) that it could be good on.

I've heard it's good for some tear users like ryze who want to be able to push the wave and back ASAP for tear too.

Personally I think it's great to have a rune dedicated to waveclear but it can't be as situational. You sacrifice combat ability for waveclear, thus you fall behind even harder when this rune doesn't allow you to oneshot creeps.

I did some calculation and arrived at the following conclusion: The active is worth a maximum of 300g (but only at about 10min) but most likely averages SIGNIFICANTLY below 150g The passive on the other hand currently has a worth of about 150g AGAINST MINIONS ONLY

The average value I get out of this rune is probably never more than 200 and sometimes even below 100g when I could get the lasthits on the minions anyway and my waveclear would either oneshot without or doesn't oneshot with it.

If this would give 4% bnous dmg for every stack, up to 24% this would probably be much more in line with other runes, giving up to 100g on your first back, about 200g at 10 min and maybe up to 400g if you make full use of it.

Which would be much more in line with other runes
