Rate my Rakan Build

As of now this is an example of my go to final build for what is at the moment.... my new favorite support. I'm curious what people think and if they have any ideas on what I should tweak. Note that I'm assuming most people are still just building Riots recommended items as well.

item 3069 item 2045 item 3504 item 3174 item 3742 boots usually wind up either item 3111 oritem 3009 If it goes to late game with a finished build I find myself buying item 2138 instead of item 2139.

My thought process is as follows. Things you need for my buddy Rakan are CDR, amps to his healing abilities, and move speed. He is by no means a tank but I feel like I have at least the base amount of defensive stats from this build helps his chances of survival in fights.

I go sight stone and ancient coin into talisman like any normal support early on, with ardent censor as my first item outside of that. I find myself having the same problems that I do with Soraka, that being that my carries are making me chase them down to heal and shield them, so the move speed helps. I find his heal slightly lacking, so it helps with that too.

Athenes has multiple uses for me, it gets me up to full CDR, The harmony passive gives me a good enough boost in health sustain. I figure since I have to land a skill shot to heal my allies the premitigation passive works in my favor as well. Consider that it should also proc when I jump in to knock up enemies then jump back to my carry with shield.

Deadmans plate comes as last item, every time, and I'll go ahead and call it the one luxury item he gets. It was mostly for the move speed at first but I'm not mad at the defensive stats either. Like I said, to me, move speed is a good asset on this guy. I find myself roaming a lot, I use ult to engage just as much as I do to save an ally who has gotten themselves caught out, and if I can get most of the pursuers of their tail, and have the ability to make it out alive all the better.

Boots swing either way depending on what I'm feeling. Merc treads if they have heavy cc and ap damage, swifty boots if most their cc is just slows.
