Today I just made a smurf account as soon as I got to play blind pick I noticed that I kept losing and the reason for that is the enemy team has more smurfs. So in my opinion riot should add a choice that your a smurf or an actual new player because smurf beating on the new player causes them to quit the game, be more toxic, or never play the game ever again.
There was a post a while back that talked about the experience of someone's friend who was a new player (Might of been reddit, don't remember). It turns out league can tell if you're a smurf or not by how you play and attempts to separate new players and smurfs into different games. It's not 100% accurate, but apparently it works pretty well.
Except some smurfs do it just so they can beat up on the new players because their mommies didn't hug them enough.
So you want to give the option to skilled players to be able to be on teams full of new people, and less of a chance to meet someone who can counter them skill wise?
