Late game team fight is happening, I'm playing Ezreal and the enemy lux one shots our support, a couple seconds later she has ulti again and one shots our mid, and then again.. you know the cycle. Kills our jungler and we barely win the team fight. I think this ult is too god damn strong :P

50 seconds max rank CD. 50 seconds times 65% (to give us her ult CD assuming 45%) = 32.5 seconds
Max rank ult gives you 50% if CD if you kill the target. 32.5 times .50 = 16.25
You claim she killed 3 people. The support, your mid, and another you don't specify. That is 16.25 times 3 = 48.75 seconds You fought a teamfight for 50 seconds? You really don't help your claim when you use hyperbole. If she is busted use real numbers to show it.

A 30-second teamfight? What was this, drain tanks vs. drain tanks?
Also, if she managed to land three ultimates that secured kills each time, she freakin' earned it. If they were properly set up by her team, then she and her team earned them.
Then I guess she was really good at hitting her snares, or your teammates are bad at dodging her abilities.

You have to get the finishing strike with the ult for it to reset. If you are getting killed by the laser then you have probably already lost the fight as at least 1 carry is probably down.
Also apparently you won that fight too so idk how you are complaining that even in the miracle case where she uses it 3 times it still isn't enough to win.
Keep in mind that in an average length game, champs are barely getting their tier 3 ult, so her 14s cd wont even have a chance to occur in many games.
Why is it to strong? Its a Reset perk just like when Jinx pops off. The player is rewarded for killing someone, just like Jinx, Kat and Darius (and there is more I forget who .... i think). So why does it being a 50% CD reduction make it to strong when Darius can do the same thing with no CD at all?
Implying that team fights last more than 10 seconds
She ulted three times in a teamfight, and you still won? If anything, that's a call for more Lux buffs.
