How long would it take to find a game if we had no bots? I cant see any point in bots except to decrease wait time or try and make a pc program as good as a human, if that's the case then its a strict for profit/volume motive and that half the population will respect. Why add something other then other humans?
Quick and reliable first win of the day, especially for people who don't have time for a normal.
Ability to try things out (including troll builds, offmeta, and otherwise "fun" stuff that'll get you screamed at in normals).
Its for new players getting used to the game. When I first started I thought intermediate bots were extremely difficult. Now I could 1v5 intermediate bots no problem. If new players played pvp off the bat they would get destroyed by a Bronze 5 smurf.
