The Few Culprits That Are Snowballing The Game

There are many reasons why games are shorter and snowballing out of control. The general consensus is that it is just unfair, not fun and unplayable to play League of Legends right now. The new rune system broke the game officially. Unfortunately this new system has been out for a few months and the Developers are still not addressing major concerns that are breaking the game.

  1. Homeguard buff at the beginning of the game is not being used as intended. The buff is supposed to allow teams to coordinate together and ward. It's not having the intended effect. The enemy is invading the JG, hiding in a bush, and getting first blood for a carry or the entire group. This is guaranteed to happen if the enemy team has a Blitzcrank or Thresh. While it is hard to predict whether or not it is going to happen, why is this in the game if it is not being used for its intended purpose?

  2. Towers are weak both defensively and aggressively. A player who is engaging someone under a turret is not punished or damaged enough when a mistake is made. Tanks and players with shields are practically immune to tower shots making diving even more frustrating. Towers are going down well become 10 minuets and if the enemy team is camping enough, the second turret can be taken.

  3. Demolish should not exist point blank. Demolish is allowing champions to take towers way to easily and allowing other lanes to help take a tower even faster. Pair this mechanic with a Rift Herald and it is overpowered. There are other ways to make split pushing champions shine. There are other ways to go about this rune, but in its current state it is overpowered and drastically changing the pace of the game.

  4. The JG needs to be more of a challenge so it doesn't become a camping gank fest for bot and top lane. Point blank, clearing the JG is way too easy and there really isn't anything stopping a meta champion from ganking bot lane and snowballing it into destruction. The first gank was not successful? The jungler comes back again and again and again, until that one time he gets a kill or someone in the lane does. The game snowballs because both laners are dead and the fist turret can be taken before 10 minuets.

  5. The pace of the game is officially ruined. A team sees a tower is at 50% because of incessant enemy jungler ganks? They all roam to botlane and take the tower and most likely the next one.

  6. Damage is too strong overall and it needs to be toned down. You have 130 champions and it seems like specific runes and breaking certain champions and allowing games to be unplayable and not fun.
