Why some people want soloq back

Let me explain this, last season if you played ranked, your teir was based on how well you played as an individuate player, you know map awareness being gold efficient ,build the right items, how well you trade snowball your lead and etc. Since people can q up more they are the majority of the team, your individal carry power is reduced, people are on voice chat making the game way too snowbally.

imagine as a solo player you have a 3 man premade. You are midlane, one is top, the other is jungle and the last one is support.(if your team has a premade probably the enemy has it too), lets say as an individual player you played well you beat the enemy midlaner, unfortunately your premade was the worse and they lost, because the enemy premade won they try to snowball their advantage and they are going to shut you down, why because they have voice chat, they can verbally tell where u are, if you have flash up or not, and you will experience a 3 man towerdive, and since in this season tanks are really strong, tower diving is not hard.

The other option is your premade is better and you win.

its almost like it would based on luck, who got the better premade with little individual impact.

Now you might ask, but then why you dont play with your friends, well even gold is not high elo neither plat, but most of my friends are silvers which is easy to understand since 70 percent of league players are bronze or silver. So i have 2 options i duo with my only friend who is the same skill level and hope we can carry, or i have to play with my silver 5 friends, who are not that much fun to play with since they don't care about improving.

Or i can ask people on the boards for dynamic q buddies.

So now, when i q up i just hope, ill get the better premade and win.

I went from bronze2 to platinum 5 last season, i was blaming my team if i lose, but when i played constantly good i just climbed, now as i said it doesn't really matter.

And all of this can be debunked with 1 Counter Argument: LoL is a teamgame. If your individual skill should determine what tier you play in you should play Starcraft or LoL ESL/FaceIt.

I don't exactly have an issue playing with or against premade teams (though I would personally prefer that everyone were solo). However, it would be nice to know which players are premade so you could plan accordingly. For example, it would be nice to know if the enemy jungle, top and mid are queued together so you know not to invade the enemy jungler because the enemies will respond faster.

My main issue with Dynamic queue is the MMR ranges it allows. It is not uncommon to see people near a full two tiers (i.e. Silver 5 and Gold 1) apparent queued together or laning against one another now. This skill difference can make match-ups very uneven and contribute to the feel that most games are stomped or be stomped.

In previous seasons and excluding duo-queue shenanigans, games would typically have all players within approximately three ranks of one another (excluding players whose MMR is far above or below their rank). Games would be far more even because everyone in them were closer to the same approximate skill level.
