So i dont see why people are not using draven now that he doesnt have the DoT like he used to have... i still find him the best ADC in the game yet no one even plays him... It can't be because catching the axes is hard because i do it with ease i doubt it is hard for anyone else its a simple concept .... i cant find one counter for draven except for supports with cc that can stun you when you try and catch axe but its not like you HAVE to catch every axe... every draven game ive played even if i was 1/3 in lane i would come back due to the sheer damage draven can dish out to even fed players... and this dude has a strong game always... he never falls off hes strong early mid and late game... i really think draven deserves a little more play.... i get he doesnt have too much mobility and his E barely helps him get away but yet i still see ashe being played by professionals all the time. I just wonder why no one plays him anymore... now bot lane is filled with lucians kalistas (Kalista gets wrecked by dravens) and a bunch of miss fortunes... it just surprises me that draven isnt a most played adc

Which type of games are you talking about? Ranked or Normals?

In normals, I'd say it's the same reason why there aren't many Orianna, Skarner, or Amumu players despite being common and strong picks in ranked play (by at least what I can remember. I haven't played it since S3?). Because you don't have the luxury of knowing what champion the other team is going to pick, nor even the general team comp they're going for, players tend to lean towards the "tried and true" type of champions, or ones that perform effectively with little need for practice and deal with a variety of matchups. It's not so much that the players don't have skill, so much as their picks are "safe" for the current trends of the game.

But hell, if you are a good Draven and you know you rock with him, go ahead and play him anywhere. :)

i see him ever now and again amoungst adc but i've played draven and honestly he felt like the hardest champion to play, ive never had so much trouble using a champions skills properly.

Draven is a mechanically difficult champion to play. That's really all there is to it. If you're good at him, he's strong. Most people aren't willing to invest the effort into learning to play him.

In terms of not seeing Draven much in pro play, it's because he is a snowball champion that really hates 2v1 lanes (no way to cash in stacks).

You're absolutely right that Draven murders Kallista btw.
