If I turn off "Show Completed Missions" in the missions panel, can it stay turned off?

Because right now, whenever I log on, it turns itself back on again.

I know it is only a small hinderance and distraction for my eyes, but it would also be a nice, simple convenience for me not having to turn it off again.
