Poll: Is Riot's balance team trying at all?

Yeah, they are trying.
Trying to fuck it up even harder.
They are trying but not trying to balance. They are pushing their own agenda which has nothing to do with balance. Balance is not a priority for the "balance" team.
Either they are trying and are terrible at it, or they legitimately think that this insane amount of burst damage is the direction the game should go.
I think the balance team are just answering to their bosses.
When you see shit like Conqueror existing and half of the runes basically being "more damage" and even aftershock scaling with AP or AD, sorry but no they aren't trying at all.
I believe the poll should have more options than just "yes or no".
That being said, they probably are trying but they're trying the wrong things for the wrong goals.

They are not trying. They are succeeding in deliberately unbalance the game to make it more atractive for Worlds and viewership and not giving a damn fuck about 99,99% about the playerbase.
Trying and actually doing well are VERY different things.
I mean.. if they weren't trying at all we'd still have ardent censer meta....

They are trying to balance for pro play which feels bad imo.
I think they are trying, just for an end goal that is not what the NA/EU players want.
Do you guys think this thread isn't a hate-mongering thread that's entirely pointless outside of garnering disdain for the balance team, who always gets this hate when they try to balance for worlds?
Better question; do you have any idea what balance is? Or any authority to say its unbalanced?

They're trying, but they're trying to balance for pro play, which is such an exhausting philosophy.
It's obvious they are trying due to the fact they patch the game at all. However they can not please a playerbase where sections of it want completely opposite things to happen before they say it's good.
I think they try TOO hard.
