Fizz Rework Potetnial Abilities (As I see it)
So, fizz's kit is overloaded to the point of game break, we all know this. His q offers movement through teamfights and minion waves to avoid skill shots, his w does percent damage over time (I think) when used to hit an enemy, and his e is just... broken. His ult is a giant fish knockup thing that does massive aoe damage, but so does his e.
I suggest a fix to this. Make his e his ult. Leave the cooldown the same but make it his main spell. Up the damage he does on landing to compensate for it being his ult, however, make it less ridiculous to play against. Instead of taking no damage at all, make him take a percentage of damage from whatever he was hit with when he used his e, say 20%? Will make it a bit more fair to balance. Just a suggestion there.
His q can stay, but I suggest his new passive be the rend over time from his w. Give it a higher cooldown obviously and only apply to champions. Now, what to do with his e and w. Two new abilities are in need.
He has escape, he has damage over time and massive aoe damage. I'd like to see his w interact with his q like his current one does. Rather than a flat damage increase make it unique. Don't ask me how.
His new e should be a single target damage spell to fit with his assassin theme. Perhaps a x hit proc like kindred's e? Different obviously but along the same principle perhaps. I'm open to suggestions on what the new abilities should be, so I'd appreciate any insights anyone has ^.^
Either that, or keep his passive, q and w the same, make his e his ult with the same modifications I suggested above, and give him a new ability for his e. Perhaps a shield so he can assassinate an enemy and escape? Maybe a targeted movement speed boost for himself or an ally? Maybe a slow?
The only thing I'm sure of is that his e is so overloaded it needs to be his ult. Get rid of the fish. Maybe you can make his new e make a small fish appear above an enemys head and killing that enemy grants some sort of buff for the next x amount of seconds?
