@Meddler After the best rework of all time, Sion is left in a dumpster

For starters, Sion is my favourite champion thematically in this game. I didn't give two shits about the green potato that was his pre-rework, and Darius has been my favorite champion overall for a long time, but Sion's theme and new lore/VO is straight up the best. Which is why it's painful to see all that work go to waste. After a few months in the spotlight, you guys killed his laning (and jungling by extension) with the E and W nerfs.

Now, I understand that the 315 magic damage every 6 seconds was ridiculous, and toning that down was the right thing to do, but after he stayed relevant for a while longer you basically removed his W as an ability for the first 17 minutes of the game. What I don't understand is why you guys nerfed the shield value AND increased the detonation delay, when the real problem was doing 40 + 10% max hp damage at level 1. You've created a champion that shields themselves from harm, but doesn't want to actually take damage during the shield because its so fragile or else they lose all of their damage, which is fairly ass-backwards.

Here's the change I'm proposing:

Soul Furnace SHIELD STRENGTH: 30 / 55 / 80 / 105 / 130 (+ 40% AP) (+ 10% of maximum health) MAGIC DAMAGE: 40 / 65 / 90 / 115 / 140 (+ 6 / 8 / 10 / 12 / 14% of target's maximum health)(+ 40% AP) DETONATION DELAY: 3 -> 2 seconds PASSIVE: Sion permanently gains 2 bonus health when he kills a minion or on a monster/champion Takedown, increased to 10 bonus health against large enemies and enemy champion takedowns.

Now it's actually possible for Sion to trade and clear the jungle with the shield early game, and he isn't forced to max it second to get any defenisve value out of it. Additionally, he no longer gets punished while jungling for donating buffs to his laners.

Did you actually play pre-nerf rework Sion or did you just want to get noticed on boards?

Also pre-rework Sion had his charms as well.

sion is still very very strong, close to op, in jungle aswell as in lane.

accept it, its the truth. before he was just completely broken and now that he isnt anymore, you allready start sucking with him. seems like your favorite champion skills are pretty lackluster.

"Greatest reworks of all time"? ?!?!? AHHAEEHAUAHAUEHAUH

WAit you are serious... let me laguh even harder HAEEHUAHEUAEHUEHAUEHUHE

Sion rework was a fail.

Lots of ppl including me stated for riot that the rework was Garbage and the only raeson sion was playable because of thel udicrous 10% max hp dmg on his shield. Asap the nerfs hit that point he disappeared w/O a trace.

Sion' rework is far from even average. From a simple yet charming character tehy created a clumsy clusterfuck who brings more fustration than joy gameplay wise by FAR from any other champion.
