Unfair Promo Series

I am very unhappy with how this system works, I was in a lobby on my last promo gaming having lost 2 and won 2 so I only had one left. When I was in the champ select for that game, 2 people made troll picks (Nami Jungle) and (Aatrox Support), I decided it would be best for me to leave this champ select so my promo game wouldn't be lost due to trolls, when I logged right back on I was notified that "My Promotion Series has ended due to inactivity" Prior to this game I have not been afk or left any games, I find this completely unfair to me as I was just trying to save myself from losing a game due to trolls, and I am very upset with how I have to take punishment on other peoples actions.
