Really hate how a lot of the new champs can effectively CC your own team

Bards time stop thing. Kalista ult. Tahm eat thing, Azir's knockback wave. It's annoying. I'm just getting back into the game and these champs make me want to quit. A misplay or grief by your own team and you lose and there's nothing you can do about it.

Doesn't Azir's ult give like MS for allies that pass through it?

It's almost like this is a team game, and you have to work together well to win.

1: Azirs ult gives your team a bonus movespeed 2: If the person was doing it to make you lose, you'd have probably lost anyways.

Agreed. Even kindred can royally bone you if she ults you at the wrong time, which depending on your champ can nullify your burst AND THEN heal your enemy. I just want them to stop creating massive playmaking abilities that can completely screw the friendly team if used improperly.

Not sure why you think it's new. Abilities to screw over your team have existed for ages. Anivia 's wall, Trundle 's wall, JarvanIV 's ult, Blitzcrank 's Q, etc

All these mentions of abilities to screw over your own team and no one mentions Alistar.

Headbutt every enemy out of danger.

Azir can't knockback allies.

well I play support so we never have a Bard. I am always the oathsworn ally and I've never had a bad Kalista ult, and a lot of really good ones that either saved my life or helped me knock up the enemy team. Similarly, if we have a Tahm top or jung they're generally more focused on winning than griefing. I've seen a few bad Azir ults but those were still good faith efforts. I'd suggest moving up in elo where you have fewer trolls in general and/or playing 5s.

One of my friends has recently started playing Tahm, and I hate it. He's saved so many enemies by eating our carries to give both himself and the carry a small ms boost. There was one time where I -as Viktor- Flashed forward to ult a fleeing enemy Kalista. I got earen by Tahm mid-Flash and couldn't get out in time to get to the Kalista before she hopped away. Another time I was Vel'Koz and the two of us were defending a low-health tower from three mid-health enemies. Just as I began casting my ult, Tahm ate me and started retreating. "They were going to tower-dive us. I saved you!" "Yes, their dive was part of the plan! They were all lined up under our tower! I could have killed them all."

I don't think he's normally a bad player, but when his 'plays' affect our allies' positioning and our ability to execute our own strategies, it rarely ends well. I and another friend have tried to convince him that Tahm really doesn't fit our standard team-comp, but he's convinced that Tahm is OP. I'm not denying that he's strong, in fact his damage is ridiculous for how tanky he is, but his kit is incredibly annoying for his allies.

Don't forget a Kindred ult right before you kill the enemy Yi diving your back line

Kitten of Evil10/20/2015, 5:22:19 AM1 votes

Azir ult shouldn't CC your team, but it may push away enemies. But if that's your definition of griefing, many champions (including some older ones) can do that. Tristana Gnar Janna LeeSin

Also Bard seems to be very rarely played. Unfortunately, since Tahm is kind of broken right now, you may see him a lot.

Bard's thing has been in DotA for decades, hence I can't see the problem there.

And Azir's R functions identical to Jayce's "wall" when it comes to allies so it's not one of them either.

Yeah, I played a game yesterday where my jungle Kindred's (well-intentioned) ult attempted to save my life, but I had intended to die in exchange for my ADC getting a triple. The ult resulted in only one of the three enemy champions dying, while me, my ADC and Kindred all died.

Sick of champions getting abilities that can interfere so heavily in what other people are doing. There should not be an ability that can with moderate consistency turn a completely won team fight into a horribly lost one. I shouldn't have to feel like telling my jungler to just leave me alone for the game.
