Placements

Dear Riot,

I might be in the minority in this one, but I wish you'd open up placements for Bronze 5 - Gold 1. In example, last year I didn't do so hot, wound up falling down into bronze 5. Looking back, I didn't know too much about the game, not nearly enough to be placed where I should have. This year, I've played over 140 matches in 3 or so weeks, consistently averaging Ranking S. (A through S+). This year, I was placed in Bronze 5 again based on how I placed last year and I don't think that's fair. I cannot for the life of me get out of bronze and I'll admit i'm not Gold 1 standard, but I can say I'm easily a Silver player.

What i'm asking for / suggesting, is anyone Gold 1 and under, should be able to be placed anywhere, not based on my last years horrible result.
