Coop. vs AI = Matchmade Game Mode?

Hello!

So the event is ongoing and I am asking myself, if "Coop. vs AI" counts towards the mission progression which requires you to play matchmade games.

i just did a pvp match and won and i killed a lot of minions and it did not count towards my 800 minions in a matchmade match how come?
