Is There A Delay In Flash?

I'm saying this because im noticing CC interacting with players that have flash and seemly "dodged" the CC.

For example in one game I threw a hook at annie it "hit" her but she flashed, visually showing my hook extended and me pulling her all the way back. Another one would be blitz knocking me up but I flash to see me get knockup up in my new position. This seems to happen a lot in all forms of CC. I hope I explained it well enough.

So is their either a delay in the flash or delay in CC that is given?

For blitz, the knockup is applied as an additional effect of his auto attack. I'm sure you've flashed before while an enemy melee (or ranged) champion has begun their animation, only to have the animation finish and the attack hit you anyway (probably killing you and leaving you very salty that you burned flash AND died... or maybe that only happens to me).

For thresh... I dunno man. But it could be related to the overlapping cc and abilities issue that Riot said they would turn on the fix to at some point. (Extra points if you saw several people live thanks to this bug in the early weeks of the LCS)

If any champion completes their auto attack animation when they clicked you, the damage is going to incur regardless of the distance. A common example is trying to flash over a wall as Tryndamere is about to score his last killing auto attack on you. What will happen is you dying over the wall.

Auto attacks are like targeted abilities that can be canceled. As for Thresh hooking Annie, it sounds like she didn't flash sideways so the hit box still reached her. If that wasn't the case, then it was a frame issue.

Flash has start up frames. Maybe the hook landed during the start up frames. Same goes with Ezreal blinking out of Blitz's Q.
