Hecarim change to make him a bit less straightforward.

So, I was thinking about a way to change his W, so that it's more than a "press W to get a Sunfire Cape passive and get some healing".

How about this: Duration of W increases by 0.5 seconds each time Hecarim hits an enemy champion with his Q.

This would make it so that you can choose to activate W not just when you need to healing, but more so when you can get multiple Qs off to multiple enemies to get an extended duration out of it, kinda like Shyvana's W with auto attacks.

You can maybe decrease the base duration from 4 seconds to 3 and have it cap at 7 or 8 seconds.

Also, seeing how Hecarim is in a very average state right now, a good buff to his W would be to reduce the healing to non-champions to 10% but have no cap to it. This way, maybe he can be viable in the top lane again and would get better sustain overall. As it stands right now, other champions that have innate healing in their kits have much more healing potential than Hecarim. Yi's W is so much more potent, Nocturne's is better, Nidalee's is better, Elise, Xin Zhao, all these healing effects are either stronger by default or either spammable and/or require no cost. Instead, Hecarim's is on 24 seconds cooldown at first, which is huge, does next to no damage (but good AoE for Raptors I guess), and the healing is capped to 90 damage on non-champions, so practically, it's useless. Healing from Talisman is so much more lol.
