Another Wood 17 Q.Q

I am in Bronze 4 right now. I'm not super new, I've played for about 6 months give or take. Despite that, I'm pretty bad. I have a hard time. I'm definitely not a great player. This hell that is the Bronze elo, though, is not for me. Everyone has bad games. I definitely have. I'm really contemplating quitting because of my ranked experiences, though.

There have been countless games where my team just doesn't play well. At all. It's literally a 50/50 chance as to whether my team or their team will just feed. There's no skill involved. We can be up by ten kills five minutes in and still wind up losing. I'm not good. I can't carry a feeding team. I am good enough, though, to not make stupid macro mistakes. Counter jungling with no vision, backup, or map awareness. No mia pings ever. Tower diving with half hp and getting outplayed. Diving in a 1v4 because one player is low health and you may get a kill.

I get 20+ lp for a win, and 15- or so for a loss. The system wants me to move up, I think, but I can't do this. If I try to coordinate with my team, I likely get flamed for being bossy. If I give tips for feeding, I get flamed back. It's constant scrutiny from teammates, and it sucks. Like I said, I don't win every game and get pulled down by my team, but it happens often enough that I don't enjoy playing for the fear of just losing.

Play 100 games and you will, more or less, be at the rank you should be at based on your skill.

I'm seeing you've played 26 games, so you've got a ways to go. Trying to tell others what to do or how to play is just going to hurt you more than help.

Do your best every game and you will climb if you are meant to. There's not really any trick to climbing, but if I had to give advice I'd say:

  1. /mute all at the beginning of every game.
  2. Make use of the ping system. Let people know when your lane is mia, other lanes are mia, where you are going, back off etc. Also pay attention to your pings though. If you ping you are going in and see that literally no one is following you up, do not get upset when you die. You should probably just not go in.
  3. Do not get tilted. Very easy concept, but apparently it is very hard for some people. If you are unable to refrain from getting tilted than take a break after particularly bad games.
  4. Focus on your game play and your game play only. What did you do well? What could you have done better? Blaming your teammates is a total cop out, and where the idea of "ELO Hell" comes from. It doesn't exist.

If you play 100 games following those concepts you will definitely be where you should be. You just may not like where you "should" be.

then dont play ranked you are not ready. Like WTF you have been playing for 6months you are in bronze for a reason. Dont blame your team because you cant carry or because you dont know how to extend a lead this is stuff you gain from playing 100s of games.
