Unit collision help!!!!!!!

I've just come back to the game after 5 months or so of not playing and it seems to me that unit collision with minions is out of control. Did they change the way unit collision works recently? Is it just buggy atm?

please let me know whats going on...not being able to last hit a minion bc another minion was beside it "barely" blocking pathing is really obnoxious.
