Any tips fighting against Jhin ?

Recently been losing lots of game or lane fighting against him. The moment the support lands a cc or his aa, he will shoot his w which travels quite fast and pass thru minions.

And his output is surprising quite strong early game I dunno why and once he gets certain amount of crit he becomes very mobile too.

Not a qq thread just looking for some advices. (I usually play cait)

I can't think of anything specific, but I do notice that Jihn is somewhat annoying early game, then meh mid game, then with a good ult, annoying again late game. If you can coordinate man-swaps for his ult so it doesn't kill anyone, or better yet get out of it, or run up to him and stun or scare the crap out of him, you'll put him in his place pretty easily. I want to say that I don't lose very many games where a Jihn is selected in the enemy team.

well .. after his 4 shots he has 2.5 secs downtime to reload - he can only use skills in that time ... so try to use these timings.

Use the downtime of his reload to go all in on him. If you see him dancing around trying to hit you with his last shot try to either avoid him or if your support has enough CC try to go in on him right then as he won't be able to contribute anything but skills after that so the you should win that trade. His W has a bit of a cast time and an indicator like Jinx's does so try and use that to your advantage or try to get behind your support if you've been hit recently. That's all I can think of now, hope it helps a little.

Jhin does some pretty insane damage and can be really hard to get once he snowballs, but early game, he should be manageable. What kind of sup is laning with you and what kind of sups do you see him usually with? That will make some difference if you are trying to take him out pre-6 to 6, but overall, the key to taking Jhin out is to play around his immobility and reload times. If you can watch his bullet count, then time your poke for when he is reloading. His reload time is a flat 2 seconds which is a long time to do some damage. Also, as Cait, you can further inhibit his movement with your trap placement. Let him push so you can freeze the lane near your turret and zone him/or his sup with your traps to keep them at a distance. Cait's poke should be your best bet for dropping him down because of her range. Then the sure fire way is to call for a gank from your midlaner or jungler (any assassin should 100-0 him).

Another trick that ive started using against Jhin as Cait is that when I see him put down a trap, I also put down a trap on it to mark it. This at least cancels out the benefits if they try to escape through their traps to catch you.

I started playing Jhin as soon as he came out and had some great success with him. As ADC, I will hover him as my first pick, but as soon as I see an assassin on the other team like Zed, Akali, Talon, I switch over to another ADC.

I don't play against Jhin as much as I play Jhin, so these tips are things that I've personally found I struggle against.

If you can counter pick him, pick Caitlyn . Nothing is quite as frustrating as being the Jhin and not being able to walk into range while still being auto attacked yourself.

You're absolutely right about the CC chain being devastating. Some champions with blinks/dashes (like Ezreal ) can drag the CC with them as they dash at the last second, getting them further away. You'll still get chain CCed, but if you're getting CCed out of Jhin's auto attack range that's better for you.

Jhin is going to threaten you with that 4th auto attack, but after a while of not being able to get into range he'll probably use it to last hit a minion. See if you can anticipate when he'll do that to close the gap and fire off some free attacks on him.

To dodge his ult, move diagonally towards him. If he ults in the FoW, then you can trace his ult range to find him and land precise skillshots.

You can play it safe and just farm in lane, it can be hard for him to have that much impact in mid game teamfights as most adcs have more sustained dps. Otherwise watch the q and catch him out of rotation. Once he misses his q and doesnt have crits up you can outtrade and harass during cs.

If you you play caitlyn you can punish really hard cause you have so much more range, can trap support, and have net. Again just watch last shot and Qs, watch waves too, multiple low health minons? back off or get Qed hard.
