Don't Judge players by their SoloQ Elo

I've Been sitting on platinum 1 for 2 seasons even tho i always thought that i deserve at least diamond (clichè) so with a couple of friends we started a team (all diamonds but me, rip) and we just won every game, i destroyed a lot of high diamond players in lane and we executed the games really well using underpowered champs like Viktor (midlane full ap) and my ego just went to the stars. Than, another game we were on a 11 wins streak, i was facing a p3 Corki an off meta champ that literally 1v9 the game, he never made a fucking mistakes, he was a p3 in a team with even a master player and he carried them all so i realized, elo comes from soloQ, the land of clown fiestas, this guy is still stucked in plat just because he plays in a low risk way and soloQ now is all about getting greedy and snowball a game in less than 15 mins. So, elo does not matter that much (of course at medium-high levels), soloQ is about adapting of what's good now to 1v9, a lot of players don't like to adapt and it's harder for them to climb, the value of a player is how well he does in a coordinated team, that's just my thought but i think it's a good point. Yeah, sometimes people just don't play a lot to reach the elo they belong to. Or they get unfortunate with a 10 lose streak / lucky with the win streak and again, get few divisions from where they should be. Or they don't trihard in ranked. But if a person has over 600 games in ranked, it's preety safe to say where they belong to.

And sometimes people play better and sometimes worse.

I am torn on this, but I want to point out that Faker himself has a several minute rant about how solo queue is worthless. Food for thought.
