Who do I have to make passionate love on to get a Sion buff?

No seriously. I'll do it. I swear. Sion is a ton of fun. A ton. But his power level is WAY too low.

Like, I get it. His Passive is strong. His ulti - pretty great utility wise. But for a massive behemoth carrying a gigantic axe/hammer, I feel like I'm not doing anything - even when I go full out offensive. And his health stacking is potentially limitless - although short of a shield, his kit doesn't really fit that of a tank (he's got the stuns, but they aren't exactly reliable). As a damage dealer, he feels lacking and incredibly punishing for little to no reward. As a tank, you don't offer the consistent utility for a team, nor do you really make the most out of your passive.

And I mean, he's punishing as hell to play now too. Not only is your damage low, but your hammer wind up is one of the most telegraphed mechanics in the game, and it's piss easy to dodge. Especially if you're against someone who can somehow disrupt you, which just causes the effect to fizzle.

And his Ulti is a great utility thing, but it's WAY too punishing for its benefits. It's a less powerful, less reliable version of Destiny or Skyfall that is not only largely telegraphed to anyone with their audio on*, but it's interrupted by terrain. And the stun utility is great - the damage, not so much. Logic should dictate that if our moves are so easy to telegraph and dodge, they should be extremely punishing to people who don't get out of the way, and extremely rewarding for anyone who does hit it.

Even though I don't think it's always the best indicator: Sion was played at LCS Extension and did really well.

That's mostly an indicator for Riot NOT buffing him.

I'm bit surprised you didn't mention his "minion toss". Imo one of the funniest skills ever.

why it had such terrible ap scalling? C'mon Riot. Make it 1.0. Allow us to play Sion AP like in ol'good times.

EDIT: i'm surprised by logic behind "lets give some AD champions ap scalling skills, but with terrible ratios". What's the point? If you guys don't want us to make different builds, fine. But then, remove AP scallings from all AD champions.

*as an aside to my original point, it would also be nice for a separate, visual indicator for Sion ulti. I know that's weird coming from a guy who pretty much implied sexual favors for Sion buffs, but I have a real soft spot for helping out gamers who may have special needs - such as the hard of hearing. Or folks who just like playing League without the sound on, because of music, or whatever. A visual indicator, even if it's in the chat box "Sion lets out a blood curdling scream!"

Other global ulti's have specific visual signs. One for Sion would be a nice add as well.

I think he's doing fine. He's not a great damage dealer, but I don't play him that way. Rather than build damage, I build heavily into utility, augmenting the skills of other champions in conjunction with my own. His E is the main damage dealer in lane (Q for jungle, but I play him as support). His W makes it easy to trade if they ever get too close. In teamfights, have someones on your team initiate first, then follow up right after for that guaranteed landing and bonus CC, OR just walk in and ult them point blank (preferably to cancel an enemy's skill, like Kat ult or to disrupt Zed or Fiddlesticks or something like that. He's not that great in teams who don't have good communication (i.e. solo queue), but he wrecks face in a well coordinated team.

the only buff i would like is for his ult to be faster its called a charge but he seesm to be just bouncing forward, and then ppl who didnt expect you there turn out to sloppy dodge you by a mmistake just because they wanted to take a creep, it just doesnt feel like a charge at all

Sion requires no buff. he simply requires a team......and a riven nerf....

I see Sion as a "glass cannon", Ult+Q and then he dies, and then you become useful again with your passive. Otherwise Sion pointless.

Sion isn't meant to be used for his damage. He's quite frankly the definition of a CC tan. He's meant to get in and continously mess up the enemy team as much as possible. Sure, his Q is telegraphed, but its also a very wide AOE knockup. His shield only gets stronger as the game goes on, and his slow can't be ignored either. If people are focusing you to stop your cc, then you're doing something right.

Remember when they scrapped Atma's? I do.

I think he's pretty good right now, both top or jungle. Top's a bit more difficult (what with ranged champions harassing when you go to farm, highly mobile champs dodging your skills like Riven and Gnar, or champions with readily available hard CC like Renekton or Irelia). Only buff I could see going to him is minor tweaks like mana costs or reducing the CD of a spell.

Make E cost 25 mana again.
