so how come league leaves ppl at 98 or 99 points, forces you to make a complete win worth 1 point? where does the last 20 go? why for you make waste of people's time? why wasn't this been thought of before and fixed? is riot amateur game maker person? dehhhh dehh dehhhhhhhh.

It goes toward your mmr so you don't get demoted later.

If you were granted free 1 LP to get to 100, people would demand 2 because this would happen at 98 LP as well. Then they'd demand 3, then 4, and so on. There has to be a cutoff point; might as well make it 100 and keep it there.
