...and the nerf to Trist's ult cooldown...

...but it'll take more than that to bring people back to the game who have quit because of this season.

Marksmen still do way too much damage for absolutely free with crit items. Really it's everyone that does too much damage, but Marksmen are currently killing people way too easily when they have their items - not just Trist and Kog - which makes every other form of dps that isn't stacking anti-AA items invalid, and even if they are they've given up their ability to carry the game at that point. If everyone just had 8 less base AD (roughly what they gave mostly everyone for free after reworking runes) and minions/monsters were easier to kill to compensate that would go a long way towards less snowbally games and the need to focus on snowballing being the winning factor of games. Even just a dblade's worth of AD matters because each IE crit amplifies that damage to 20 pre-resistances and pretty much every relevant marksman right now has an AS steroid and a damage-amplifying keystone. Also something something paper mache something something towers.

That brings us to the second point: snowballing is currently the premiere factor of winning games, not team play or outsmarting opponents or so help me winning as a solo laner. I cringe whenever a team is even a little behind and therefore has ZERO vision because the enemy team was able to ward and clear literally everything, because they were a little ahead after winning one fight by a small margin or forcing the enemy team to recall or something. The game is decided so long as they're doing that; at that point they can just stack somehwere in the jungle and murder whoever walks there. The only thing that can turn that situation around is a clean ace which if the winning team has vision control will statistically never happen unless they towerdive without a tank or ults. Deathballing ala Starcraft 2 Terran/Protoss has never been so rewarding in all of LoL history. There's never a reason not to huddle together and blow people up one at a time when your team's ahead. Fun.

Changes deserve to be made. The current game is certainly a MOBA...but not LoL. Not to many at least.
