The elephant in the room

After all these months, the Protobelt is finally being abused like everyone thought it would. I know high level play is a bad comparison, but most AP mid laners, top laners, and ap jg's in the LCS rush a protobelt for their first item. And yet there's no threads about it? I see threads complaining about Kennan with the belt, but the real problem is the belt and people aren't bringing it up. When the item was first announced the uproar was huge, then everyone has forgotten about it apparently. But I feel like it needs a rebalance somehow. Maybe making it strong and more expensive so that it's not efficient to rush first thing? But that doesn't solve a whole lot. I'm no expert, I'm here to ask questions
