After two games, I'm really diggin' this champ select
I really like the smoothness of the entire thing, it just feels better. My games are also a lot less salty, even when we're doing really poorly or throwing, since everyone is generally happy because they got the role that they wanted. Overall, it's a nice change. But, there are a few things that I would like to be different.

I still think it would be nice to have Team Builder. Sometimes when I wasn't doing so well or if I just bought a champ that I really wanted to play specifically, I'd go into Team Builder and be guaranteed to get my role/champ. The long queues and maybe unconventional match-ups didn't really bother me at all, I was being pickier, so therefore I had to wait longer to get what I wanted. Now, there's a chance that I won't get the role that I really want, and I'll have to do something that I really don't want to do. It's not a really major issue, and there is a good chance that I'll get queued up in the role that I want to play, but it still would avoid the hassle of not getting what I truly want to play.

What's the point of declaring our champions? If we already know what role our teammates are going, there's really no need for a declaration of what champion we're planning on playing, since we can just work out our comp when we're selecting the champions. Right now, it feels like people are just mindlessly picking a champion or just selecting one that they'd prefer, and not picking them to play since we don't know the enemy team comp so we can't pick around it. I feel like it's just a waste of 30 seconds.

Bans (or just 1 ban) definitely needs to be brought back to the first pick. Right now, first pick is entirely at the disadvantage. It's much easier to get counter picked when you're first pick (it's always been that way), but it seemed okay since you got to decide who wasn't going to be played. Now, if you're first pick, you're screwed. You're going to get countered and there's nothing you can do about it. The last picks always had some insight into who was being played and you could use that to pick the best counter to that, which was why it was fine that the first pick got to make the bans.
Just my $0.02. I like the new champ select a lot though, despite what seems to be the popular opinion on these boards. I don't wanna seem too edgy or non-conformist, so nerf Rengar pls. Wind wall broken and op.
