The vast majority of Asian/Chinese players I see and talk to would absolutely hate a Shyvana VGU.
This isn't meant to be an anti-Shyvana VGU post, but there are are a lot of people who think that she is next to get a VGU after Volibear, since she won the Chinese poll. I will clear this theory up.
Champion reworks/VGU's are based around player feedback now. Remember Teemo's proposed rework last year? It was scrapped because so many people hated it. Remember Wukongs rework? That was also scrapped because it was negatively received by the Chinese audience so his current rework is pretty much the same as he is. He was positively received everywhere else except the Asian player base. The feedback towards a potential Shyvana VGU has largely negative in the Asian market. The same goes for karma, she had a potential rework, but the player base hated it. Riot does listen to its customers.
I check feedback a lot on the forums of many league of legends forum sites and most of the Asian player base feel resentful towards a VGU for her.
There were also a lot of Chinese trolls who deliberately voted for Shyvana on the poll just so a lot of people who don't want her to get a VGU would get angry. A lot of them admitted this.
The Asian audience is known for the biggest MTX users. Shyvana is very popular in the Asian market and the vast majority would hate a rework for her. They don't even care how epic her rework would be, Most of them want her to stay the same as she is.
Riot knows this and they aren't stupid. They're not going to risk a huge number of players quitting and losing a lot of MTX customers just so a champion can get updated. There are other champions that are very welcome to get a VGU there, but Shyvana is not one of them.
Remember, I'm not against a Shyvana VGU, I would love one, but we also need to think rationally here. If so many people do not want a rework for a champion, then riot will not rework them. They are not foolhardy. They know her rework will cause far far more backlash than any other reworked champion.
